ascos is Germany’s nationwide satellite reference service that delivers homogeneous correction data for positioning applications using GPS and GLONASS and provides value added services around geographic coordinates.

Since March 2008 ascos is operated from Hannover by AXIO-NET GmbH, a subsidiary of two of the most experienced and successful companies in the area of development, operation, and provision of satellite services: Astrium Services GmbH, itself a sudsidiary of EADS, and Allsat GmbH network+services.
